VrikkeTo me a knitted sweather is like a painting. An adventure in colours, pattern and composition. My world of colours is inspired by the nature in my home valley in the heart of traditional Telemark in Norway. The basis of my design is founded on my own cultural heritage - weaving, traditional rosepainting, national costumes and knitwear from previous generations. "My designs are a personal statement to be worn by individuals. A celebration of life."
